JEFFREY MCKINNIE ATTORNEY
Mr. McKinnie earned his B.A. in Journalism from California State University of Northridge, and following graduation, accepted a position as a news associate at KCBS Television News in Los Angeles. After receiving awards from the Los Angeles Society of Professional Journalists and the Freedom Forum Foundation (Chips Quinn Scholar), Mr. McKinnie moved to Boise, Idaho where he worked as a news reporter for the Idaho Statesman.
His work as a cops and courts reporter greatly influenced his decision to pursue a career in law. With a passion for criminal justice and a love for Boise, Idaho, Jeffrey McKinnie decided to attend law school at University of Idaho College of Law. Mr. McKinnie achieved academic success and was a member of a variety of student organizations, including the Moot Court Trial Team. This decision to study within the state afforded him the opportunity to specialize as a Boise, Idaho criminal defense attorney. By understanding the nuances of the local laws and the dynamics of the Idaho legal system, Jeffrey McKinnie is excited to handle the cases of his clients in Boise, Idaho.
After completing an internship in practice at the Ada County Prosecutor’s Office, Mr. McKinnie accepted a position as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney with the Canyon County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, where he handled misdemeanors and felonies. This experience strongly validated his decision to become a criminal defense attorney. McKinnie is currently licensed to practice law in all courts of the State of Idaho and the U.S. District Court for the District of Idaho. By defending the rights of Idaho’s citizens, and by playing a key role in Idaho’s legal system, Jeffrey McKinnie hopes to make Boise a better place to live. He believes that every citizen in the United States deserves a fair and just trial. Having experienced and reputable legal representation is part of what makes this community such a great place to live.

WENDY SIBRIAN ATTORNEY
NEW ASSOCIATE
Wendy graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Boise State University in 2019 and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Idaho College of Law in 2022, where she was also a member of the U of I Law Review.
During law school, Wendy worked as a licensed legal intern for McKinnie Law where she made numerous court appearances, handling a wide variety of misdemeanor criminal matters as well as assisting Mr. McKinnie in Jury Trials.
In her spare time, Wendy enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Ms. Sibrian is licensed to practice in all courts in all State and Federal Courts in Idaho.
